Intro to TBK
Intro to TBK is designed for young skiers in 1st grade and up who are ready to explore Alpine, Terrain Park, and Big Mountain skiing in a fun and supportive team environment. Athletes build confidence while developing strong skiing fundamentals, all-mountain versatility, and a lifelong love for the sport.
Training focuses on skill development through varied terrain, introducing athletes to moguls, terrain parks, steeps, and all-mountain skiing in a safe and encouraging environment.
Athletes work on:
- Strong skiing fundamentals and technique
- SkillsQuest development
- Terrain awareness and mountain safety
- Confidence on varied terrain and snow conditions
- Introduction to freestyle and big mountain concepts
- Goal setting and personal progression throughout the season
Athletes must be confident, strong skiers who can put on their own equipment and ski in control with no wedge.
- Training Schedule
Saturdays or Sundays
- Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Location: NEW THIS YEAR** Base of the Gondola Peak 8
Early December – Late March (no training Dec 26–27)
- Program Focus
- Alpine fundamentals & intro to SkillsQuest
- Terrain park safety and progression
- All-mountain skiing, moguls, trees, and variable terrain
- Requirements
- Confident parallel turns on all runs (no wedge)
- Comfortable skiing a full day
- Must ski with poles

1st Grade +
All new families MUST complete an application prior to registering
Price:
Saturday - $2,691
Sunday - $3,001
- Pass Requirements
Epic Local Pass (or higher) required. Pass not included in program fee.
- Equipment Recommendations
Mandatory Equipment
- Skis (between chin and forehead)
- Poles (turn pole upside down, grab the pole just under the basket, your elbow should form about a 90* angle)
- Ski Boots (3-4 buckles)
- Helmet, Goggles
Recommended Equipment
- Small chairlift safe backpack
- Extra gloves/mittens

- Program placement is subject to coach assessment
**Parents are not permitted to ski with the team unless they have completed and passed their on snow training, background check, safesport and obtained a coaching license.
